Ultimate Frisbee Club Mission Statement

This mission of the Ultimate club team is to offer another sport in which the students of Eastern College may participate and supply another way to develop physical well-being. Being that we are a Christian college our main goal is to represent Eastern College as a Christian college and spread the good news of the gospel through good sportsmanship and fair play, as well as our lifestyle and actions, to people that otherwise may never see or hear the gospel.

Ultimate Frisbee Club Constitution

This club is open to all students wanting to play Ultimate. We do not discriminate by race, color, sex, or playing ability. Team captains will be chosen by a majority consensus of all team members. The captains will be chosen at the beginning of the fall semester and continue to be the captains through the spring semester. In the case that a captain would not return in the spring, a vote will be taken to replace him/her. We will have 2-3 team captains sharing the responsibilities of president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. Ultimate is played in the fall and the spring semesters. We will try to practice at least 3 days per week, weather permitting. Teams play each other in weekend tournaments throughout the world. We will be attending as many tournaments as possible. Tournaments will be decided upon by the team members.

All members of the team must join the Ultimate Players Association (UPA). This membership fee is currently $15 and lasts for a year. In order to play at most tournaments team members must all be members of the UPA.The team will attempt to raise funds to help defer the costs of UPA membership, tournament fees, and team jerseys through any fundraisers possible.
