Jon:  budget is around $3900

Betsy:  updated Constitution for Tae-Kwon-Do, meeting with Rules Committee will possibly be Wednesday at 2

Janine:  please remember to sign in for your office hour

                Domenick and Jerusha need to make up missed office hours

Dustin:  Mr. Eastern – putting together a group to help out

Lindsey: need new dates for Mr Eastern and the Film Fest

                Met with Education Policy and Curriculum Team regarding Grading Scale Recommendation

Nate S. (Junior Class):  gym project is going very well

                Looking into Class Trip this semester

                Doing work on the Film Fest

                Exact amount as last year

                About $1400-$1500 is used for pizza, the rest is soda and prize money

Request for Funds – Mentoring Elisha ($60) – present by Mark Herbert

Wanted to go back and reconsider the money allotted to these groups in light of the extra money we receive back into our budget just recently

                Mark has not talked to Mentoring Elisha yet but if they already went on their trip they probably paid out of their own pockets

Request for Funds – Repertory Group: Sacred Dance ($90) – presented by Mark Herbert

                 We gave them $90, half of the $180 for performing students, but not the $120 they requested for students not performing

                6 dancers attended, $30 per person

                this is what we would have given had we known we’d have this much money

Suspension of Debate – Discussion with Joe Modica

New ideas for Christian Life

                Maggie Robbins is working on Spiritual Directors who would work with students through Joe’s office

                Spiritual Formation across the schools

                                Being conformed to the image of Christ for the sake of others

Joe has been here since 1993

Since then we’ve grown, the greatest change is infiltration of revelation

We are one of the most denominationally diverse universities in the CCU

Eastern’s goal is not to become more Baptist or less Baptist but rather to honor its doctrinal statement
